The Foothills Performing Arts Center has 2 Christmas concerts, tonight & Saturday night in downtown Oneonta.  Executive director Huemac Garcia said that country legend Mel Tillis performs tonight:

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a complaint of a disabled vehicle in the Town of Hamden and arrested 41-year-old Arthur Melvin of Andes for Driving While Intoxicated & Parking on Pavement.  He is to return to Hamden Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.


Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident on State Route 28 in the Town of Meredith and arrested 42-year-old Deanna Stein of Delhi for Driving While Intoxicated & Failure to Keep Right.  Stein will return to Meredith Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The American Red Cross will host a community blood drive in Sidney Saturday.  The drive will be held from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Saint Luke’s church community room, appointments can be made at 1-800-redcross or at redcrossblood.org.
