A new poll of New York voters shows Governor Andrew Cuomo is maintaining a double-digit lead over Republican challenger Rob Astorino. The Siena College poll shows Cuomo leading Astorino 58 to 28%.   Astorino continues to remain unknown among those polled, with 66% either did not know who he is or they had no opinion.

Tax collections in April were more than $1 billion, or 17% lower, than comparable receipts a year ago, but $86.8 million higher than the projections included in the Enacted Budget Financial Plan, according to the April Cash Report from State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli. The year-over-year decrease was primarily in Personal Income Tax collections.
