Governor Cuomo unveiled a 3-point plan to end the AIDS epidemic in New York State by 2020. This program is designed to decrease new HIV infections to the point where the number of people living with HIV in New York State is reduced for the first time with better treatment & wider use of drugs that can help prevent the spread of the disease. The end of the AIDS epidemic will occur when the number of new HIV infections falls below the number of HIV-related deaths.

State Police arrested 47 year old Erin Graig of Hawaii for Driving While Intoxicated, Harassment, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration.  The arrest followed a traffic stop for driving without her headlights on State Highway 23 in Oneonta, Graig is accused of driving while impaired by an alcohol and drugs, she refused to be handcuffed and physically fought with the troopers, stopping only after the use of OC spray.  Graig was arraigned in the Town of Oneonta Court and remanded to the Otsego County Jail with no bail set at this time.
