Delaware County District Attorney Investigators arrested 29-year-old Anthony McCool of Walton Friday, for 1st degree Criminal Sexual Act. McCool is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a person less than 11 years old, he was arraigned in the Village of Walton Court and remanded to The Delaware County Correction Facility on $20,000 bail. McCool is to reappear in the Village of Walton Court Tuesday.
The next area Chamber Collaboration Dinner Meeting will be held tonight at the Sundown Golf & Country Club in Guilford. The event begins at 6:00 pm; dinner at 6:30, which will be followed by reports from the Afton, Bainbridge, Sidney and Unadilla Chambers.

Motorists are advised that State Route 17 eastbound between the Airport Road and the Front Street exit will be reduced to one lane beginning at 9:00 this morning. Crews will be performing slope work in preparation for retaining wall construction and pavement reconstruction. Also, Mygatt Street will experience periodic, alternating lane closures between Prospect Street and LaGrange Street. Work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. on July 26th.
