The American Cancer Society’s Tri-Town Relay for Life kick off meeting will be held on Monday February 2nd at 5:30 PM, the United Methodist Church at 12 Liberty Street, Sidney. The Relay for Life will be held Saturday May 9th at General Clinton Park in Bainbridge. Organizers are asking for previous team captains, new team captains, or the general public, to attend. More volunteers for this year’s event are needed; more information is available at 563-8841 or 563-9634.

The Cancer Services Program of Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie counties will offer free health screenings to women 40 and older who are uninsured. The Bassett Cancer Institute’s mobile screening coach will be available today from 9:00am-3:00pm at the Southside Mall parking lot Oneonta. Appointments can be made at 1-888-345-0225.

The American Red Cross will hold blood drives in Oneonta today from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., State University of New York Oneonta, on Blodgett Road. Another blood drive will be held in New Berlin from 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., GOLDEN ARTIST COLORS at 188 Bell Road.
