A Chenango county grand jury indicted 35 year old Shaun Sullivan of Norwich, on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal nuisance and endangering the welfare of a child. Sullivan is accused of unlawfully allow individuals to gather at his Norwich residence for the purpose of engaging in unlawful sales of controlled substances & possessing Heroin & Cocaine with the intent to sell, & acting in a manner injurious to the welfare of a child.

State Police in Deposit are investigating an adult Deceased male was found near the railroad tracks at Wheeler Street in the village of Hancock Wednesday morning. The identity of the man has not been released, police reported that this is not a homicide investigation and does not appear to be suspicious. Investigators are now waiting for results from the autopsy, which could be performed today.

The Delaware county sheriffs department responded to the call of a man killed by a fallen tree. 70 year old Ralph Hunt died Wednesday as he was cutting firewood on property near his home on county Route 14. Hunt was attempting to cut a tree when it broke loose and struck him, Deputies reported that Hunt once served as chief of the Delhi Fire Department.

Governor Cuomo announced that the 30th New York Farm Show will return to the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse beginning today, and ending on Saturday.
