Police in Broome County arrested 3 people on drug charges. Arrested were 28 year old Jessica Titus, 17 year old Maria Champion-Cruz & 35 year old Richard Madison on a variety of drug charges & conspiracy, for allegedly bring illegal drugs to Broome County from New York City by bus, with intent to sell in the Binghamton area. The arrests were made following an investigation by the Broome County Special Task Force & Binghamton Police, they confiscated 130 grams of unpackaged, pure heroin and about 52 grams of powder cocaine, all 3 are being held at the Broome County Jail without bail.

Governor Cuomo announced that the State Board for Historic Preservation has recommended the addition of 22 properties to the State and National Registers of Historic Places. The nominations include 1 Delaware County property: the 1st Congregational Church in Walton, which was built in 1840 & is significant for its distinctive example of mid-19th century Neoclassical church architecture.
