State DOT Commissioner Joan McDonald announced the reopening of the Interstate 88 eastbound Worcester rest area, as a parking area and text stop. The parking area re-opened Monday, work to bring the rest area to full service will continue through next spring. The State will rehabilitate the rest area’s building to provide full service restrooms by next summer.
