Police in New Mexico said Monday evening that mixed martial arts fighter & Endicott New York native Jon “Bones” Jones is in custody, in connections with a hit & run accident Sunday morning. Albuquerque Police Department reported that Jones was booked without incident for felony leaving the scene of an accident, the driver of the other vehicle was a pregnant woman in her 20’s who suffered broken bones, she was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation. Jones faces court action shortly.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a 1-car property damage accident Sunday afternoon on State Highway 10 in the Town of Delhi. Deputies arrested 42-year-old Daniel Margiotta of Hamden, with DWI, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, speed not reasonable and prudent and having an open alcoholic container in the vehicle. Margiotta was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Delhi Court on May 26th, 2015, Additional charges are pending.

Governor Cuomo announced that 17 additional companies will create 343 new jobs in New York State through START-UP NY. These companies join the 93 businesses that already participate in this program, which creates tax-free areas associated with colleges and universities across the state. The 17 businesses announced today will additionally invest nearly $13.5 million into these new job-creating ventures. They will be located in tax-free areas Including at SUNY Cobleskill, & Binghamton University.

The Bainbridge-Guilford Central School will hold a Board of Education Meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in the District Conference Room at 5:30 PM. The Board anticipates moving into executive session at that time. The business portion of the meeting will start at 7:00 PM.
