State Police continue to search for the two prisoners who escaped from the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, 34-year old David Sweat and 48-year old Richard Matt were reported missing from the facility early Saturday. Approximately 300 leads have been developed since the escape was reported; State Police continue to investigate leads and tips that have been generated by this investigation. Governor Cuomo today announced that New York State has kept 7,521 dangerous drivers off the road since implementing tougher DWI regulations nearly three years ago. In September 2012, Since the implementation of the tougher regulations, the DMV has reviewed 8,450 applications for re-licensing from individuals with three or more alcohol or drug-related driving offenses on their record, . They denied 7,521 individuals from receiving a license either permanently or for an additional five years; they also denied an additional 3,579 drivers due to three or four alcohol or drug-related convictions but no serious driving offense in the last 25 years.

Another Delaware county free rabies clinic will be held today. The Clinic will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Tompkins Highway Garage, 8586 Co. Highway 20 in Trout Creek.
