Governor Cuomo directed that flags on state government buildings be flown at half-staff today in honor of the 61 men and women who lost their lives to Superstorm Sandy. Governor Cuomo also asked for a moment of silence in memory of those who were lost as well as the countless others whose lives were disrupted, at 8:00 tonight, marking the approximate time when the storm surge first began in New York.

The village of Bainbridge will hold 2 community meetings, regarding the revision of the village’s long-term plan. A meeting for the village’s business community will be held tonight at 6:30 in the Bainbridge town hall, a community meeting for residents will be held on Wednesday November 19th at 6:30, at the Bainbridge Town hall. A meeting of the Otsego County Water Quality Coordinating Committee will be held today, featuring a presentation about the new parking lot at Glimmerglass State Park. The meeting begins at 1:00 PM in Classroom A of The Meadows Office Building & is hosted by the Otsego County Planning Department. This event is free and open to the public.
