State police report that 21 year old Maisie Grant of Norwich was killed, when she drove her car into a tree Monday night.   Grant was driving on River Road in Unadilla, when she failed to negotiate a corner & crashed into a tree.  Grant was pronounced her dead at the scene.

Delaware county sheriff’s Deputies investigated a 1 car personal injury automobile accident on Turnpike RD in the Town of Meredith. 58 year old David Mokay of Delhi failed to negotiate a turn on Miller Hill Road, His vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Mokay had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to the hospital. Mokay was issued tickets for unsafe speed and unsafe lane change, He will appear in Town of Meredith Court at a later date.

The Village of Sidney will hold a Special Board meeting at 6:00 PM in the 1st Floor Board room in the Civic Center. The meeting will be held during the scheduled Public Hearing for the Long Term Community Recover Plan. A copy of this plan can be reviewed at the Village Clerks office.
