The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested David Shurock of North Norwich, for Falsely Reporting an Incident. Shurock is accused of Falsely reporting an abandon vehicle on Jones-Peck Rd in the Town of North Norwich; he was released on an appearance ticket for the Town of North Norwich Court to appear at a later date.

The local office of the Alzheimer’s Association is having a full day caregiver’s conference in Oneonta today, sponsored by Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn in Oneonta. A Walk to support the programs and services is scheduled at various locations in Otsego, Delaware & Schoharie Counties on Saturday. Money raised stays local to serve local families.
