Governor Cuomo, & State Leaders announced an agreement on the “Enough is Enough” legislation to combat sexual assault on college campuses. Cuomo commented about the need for teh legisaltion:

The package includes a statewide definition of affirmative consent, a statewide amnesty policy, a Students’ Bill of Rights distributed to all students, training for administrators, staff, and students, & a new unit within the State Police called the “sexual assault victims unit”.

State Police at Sidney arrested 21 year old Nevin Cutting of Sidney Center, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a B.A.C. result of .21%. While at an accident scene a Trooper witnessed Cutting drive up and park very closely to the rear of an ambulance and stop, at the intersection of State Routes 7 & 8, in the Town of Unadilla. Cutting was issued tickets returnable in the Town of Unadilla Court on June 22nd.

The United Way of Delaware and Otsego Counties announced that the technical training for their 2016 funding application will be held today, at 9:30 A.M. in the Fox Care Center Conference room in Oneonta. The funding cycle is January 1st through December 31st, of 2016.New applicants are highly encouraged to attend. More information is available at 432-8006.

The Bainbridge-Guilford Central School will hold a SPECIAL Board of Education Meeting today in the District Conference Room at 5:30 PM. The Board will move into Executive Session to interview Principal Candidates.
