Anndrea Starzak kicked off her campaign for the New York State Senate today with a series of rallies in Tioga, Broome and Chenango counties. A Delaware County event is expected to be announced for Thursday, Starzak is running in the New York 52nd Senate district on the Democratic and Working Families party lines, seeking to unseat long time incumbent republican Tom Libous. Staff and students from the Oneonta Job Corps Academy will be holding Job Corps Day at the Norwich Memorial Guernsey Library from 3:00pm to 6:00pm today. Spokesperson Lynn Price comments:

The Oneonta Job Corps programs offer hands-on career training and education those at ages 16 to 24.

Town of Guilford residents can attend a Public Hearing on the proposed Town of Guilford Comprehensive Plan tonight at 7:00 PM. The Hearing will be held in the Guilford Town Hall on Marble Road in Guilford Center.
