Hartwick College’s True Blue Weekend begins today through this Sunday on the College campus in Oneonta. True Blue Weekend will feature the 27th Annual Golf Classic at The SUNY Delhi; the Golden Jubilee Reunion; the Fall Fest at Pine Lake; On Saturday, Hartwick football plays SUNY-Brockport at 2:00 PM at Wright Stadium. Delaware County Chamber of Commerce First Friday Eat & Greet Breakfast will be held today in Sidney. The event will run from 8:30 to 10:00 am at the Sidney Elks Lodge at 104 River Street in Sidney. The 23rd Annual Grand Finale Cruise In will be held Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, this year it has been moved from the Sidney Airport to the nearby Sidney Industrial Park, on Winkler Road, just off of River Road in Sidney. Hundreds of vehicles participate each year; there are various contests, trophies in many categories, plus Flea Market Vendors, Food and Refreshments. DEC officials remind hunters that today is the deadline to apply for deer management permits. Licensed hunters may apply for up to 2 deer management permits in specified Wildlife Management Units. Hunters will know immediately whether or not they are selected to receive their deer management permits. Assemblyman Cliff Crouch announced that the Harpursville School District will be receiving funding in the form of low-cost tax-exempt bonds to help support facility upgrades. The money is issued through the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York; Harpursville will be receiving $11,705,000 in funding.

Commerce Chenango announced that trail runners can register for the upcoming Chobani Chamber Challenge Trail Run, scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 30th in the town of Pharsalia. The 3rd annual Trail Run features both 5k and 10k races, Chobani will distribute Chobani yogurt products to participants.
