Delaware County District Attorney Shawn Smith, Delaware County Sheriff Craig DuMond announced today the filing of a 25-count indictment against Brent Trimbell of Hobart, Smith outlined the charges:

Brent Trimbell is currently in the Custody of US Marshalls on federal sex offense charges, DA Smith said that they are working with Federal officials to bring Trimbell to trial in Delaware County Court at a later date.

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42 year old Bobbie Jo Davis of Marathon on a variety of charges, after she hit a deer with her vehicle & is accused of being intoxicated at the time. Deputies responded Wednesday night to State Route 79 in the town of Lisle, where Davis left the scene before they arrived, witnesses reported that she was driving erratically & the car had heavy front end damage. after being placed into custody she was belligerent to officers, she was charged with DWI, Reckless Endangerment, Resisting Arrest, Escape, Obstruction of Governmental Administration as well as 12 Traffic Violations, she was arraigned and was was released pending future court action.

State Police and local Emergency squads responded to an accident between an SUV & a Tractor Trailer, at about 7:00 PM last night, at State Route 7 & 8. 1 person suffered injuries and was taken to an area hospital, WCDO will have more details as they become available.
