52 year old Iris Bonilla of Binghamton is facing a multitude of charges after a reckless driving incident from New York and into Pennsylvania on May 3rd. Bonilla was charged with 4 counts each of aggravated assault, 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment and harassment, plus one count each of criminal mischief, and several traffic violations. Bonilla was arrested after an incident that began in Nichols, New York, and ended in Wysox Township, Pennsylvania.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Adam Decker of Pennsylvania on a fugitive of justice warrant. Deputies were notified that Decker was housed in the Delaware County Correctional Facility, & he had an active Arrest Warrant through the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office & they wanted to extradite Decker back to Pennsylvania. Decker was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies and turned over to the Delaware County Correctional Facility awaiting centralized arraignment.

3 former Marcy Correctional Facility officers appeared in Oneida County Court This Morning, Nicholas Kieffer, Anthony Farina and David Kingsley are accused in connection with the fatal beating of inmate Robert Brooks in December. Farina & Kingsley both rejected the plea offer for 2nd degree murder, serving no more than 18-years-to-life in State prison. Kieffer rejected his offer of 12 years in State prison for gang assault. All 3 were ordered to return to court on June 3rd.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit arrested 35 year old Gary Lanzo of the Town of Union on multiple felony drug and weapons charges following a warrant execution Friday. As a result of the search warrant, officers seized Cocaine, Digital Scales, Packaging Material, A Ruger .45 Caliber Revolver and a 9mm Handgun, Lanzo was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3 Counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia & Criminal Possession of a Weapon, he was arraigned and remanded to the Broome County Correctional Facility, where he remains in custody.

Chenango County Clerk’s Office, the Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce and “4 Towns Forward”, are teaming up to help local residents get a US Passport. the event will be held at the Bainbridge Community Center on Thursday June 19 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
