Delaware County Sheriff’s Office responded Monday Night at about 9:15 pm, to the scene of a tractor trailer rollover accident on State Highway 10 in the Town of Delhi. The highway was shut down for several hours while units on scene worked to upright the vehicle, at about 1:30 AM, the vehicle was up-righted and removed from the scene. the investigation is continuing.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 30 year old George Robinson, who is wanted for violation of the family court act. Robinson is described as a white male, 6’2″ with red hair & brown eyes, anyone with information should contact the Sheriff;s Office at 607-832-5555 or submit a tip to the Sheriff’s Office App.

A.M. NEWS WEDNESDAY 4-16-25

Grand Jury indictments were handed down in the case of the death of Messiah Nantwi, a prisoner at the Mid-State Correctional Facility. Nantwi died at a hospital on March 1 after being transported from the prison, during the 22-day strike by Correction Officers. 15 people were arrested, Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick has been investigating his death.

31 year old Cody Smolin of Stamford pleaded guilty to 1 count of Driving While Intoxicated, he will be required to attend an Impaired Driver Program, and his license is revoked for at least 6 months, after that he will have to install an ignition interlock device on any vehicle he owns or drives. If Smolin violates any terms or conditions of his conditional discharge, he is subject to being re-sentenced to one year in jail. On November 20, a State Trooper responded to a report of an intoxicated hunter attempting to load a deer in a U-Haul in the Town of Stamford, he failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests
