Delaware county sheriff’s Deputies investigated a 2 car Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident on State Highway 10 in the Town of Delhi.  33-year-old James Hodges of Davenport crossed into the opposing lane of traffic striking a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Susan Whitney of Delhi head on.  Whitney and 3 of her passengers, as well as a passenger in Hodge’s vehicle were transported to O’Connor Hospital in Delhi.  Hodges was ticketed for Failure to Keep Right and is to appear in the Town of Delhi Court to answer the charge.

The Chenango county sheriffs department arrested 28-year-old Joseph Sites of Vestal on charges of 4th degree Criminal Mischief and 3rd degree Menacing.   Sites was arrested following an investigation of a Domestic Dispute in a motor vehicle on County Road 32 in the Town of Greene.  Sites was arraigned in the Town Greene Court and faces additional court action.

Otsego county sheriff’s deputies are investigating burglaries on December 10th & 23rd at a barn on county Route 4 in the Town of Unadilla.  Deputies have released a picture to the print media taken by a surveillance camera, anyone with information is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 547-4363. All calls will be kept confidential.

The Binghamton Senators will celebrate “40 Years of Hockey Night” tonight at the Broome County Arena.  The late Jim Matthews, of Matthews Auto, is credited with bringing professional hockey to Binghamton in 1973 with the Broome Dusters, who were followed by the Binghamton Whalers, Binghamton Rangers, the B.C. Icemen and the current Binghamton Senators.  The first 2,000 fans will receive a commemorative poster & The B-Sens will honor the Matthews family during a special pre-game ceremony set to begin at 7 PM.
