Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced that his office is offering tips to consumers for using crowdfunding websites such as GoFundMe, to make charitable and other donations. The sites, which allow users to post fundraising solicitations and receive donations, are changing how individuals raise and donate funds. Complaints can be filed with the Attorney General’s office at 1-800-771-7755, or ag.ny.gov.

A Farm Safety Presentation will be held today from 1:00-3:00PM at SUNY Morrisville in Norwich on Conkey Avenue. Topics include PTO Safety, the ROPS Rebate Program, Chemical Safety, the seminar is co-sponsored by the Chenango County Farmland Protection Committee & Chenango County Farm Bureau.

The American Red Cross will hold Blood Drives locally today & tomorrow. In Delhi, a blood drive will be held from 8:00 to 2:00 PM at the Delaware Academy, & from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at the Church at 3 Delview Extension. On Saturday, a blood drive will be held in Sidney from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Saint Luke’s Church at 139 West Main Street. In Oneonta, a blood drive will be held Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Main Street Baptist Church at 333 Main St.
