Sidney village police arrested 33-year-old Christine Bochman of Sidney for falsely reporting an incident, Bochman is accused of reporting an assault that did not occur, she faces court action shortly.

Both the Sidney Village & Town boards are in support of a plan to begin setting up their own ambulance district. Sidney village spokesman John Redente explains:

Redente said that the next step is a feasibility study, the final step would be to have an ambulance district with a commissioner and paid staff, that could answer calls within minutes of a report of distress.

Delaware County Sheriff Department Arrested 23-year-old Joseph GARCIA of Meredith on a Bench warrant For Criminal Mischief. GARCIA was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $250 Cash Bail pending future court action.
