The Delaware County Clean Sweep Disposal days begin today for farms & businesses and tomorrow for households.  County solid waste manager Sue McIntyre told WCDO News what is being accepted this year:

The Unadilla chamber of commerce will hold the 4th Annual Autumn Fest tomorrow at the Unadilla Community Field beginning at 10 a.m. Unadilla chamber co-president Brenda Brooks comments:

Sidney Center’s 4th Annual Tractor Parade will be Saturday.  Sidney center improvement group president Mike Sellitti explains:

Sellitti said that the parade line-up begins at 10:00 AM and the parade begins at Noon.   Last year over 80 vehicles participated, more than 100 vehicles are anticipated, some coning from out of state.

State Senator Jim Seward announced that he will make an announcement late this afternoon in downtown Oneonta, at the Kim Muller Plaza.  Senator Seward will join City of Oneonta Mayor Dick Miller to announce special legislative funding to assist in a downtown redevelopment “green initiative.” At 5:30 PM during Oneonta’s Fabulous Friday event.

A benefit is being held for TERESA SCHERMERHORN, Sunday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at The Hitchin’ Post on route 7 on Belden Hill in Port Crane.  Area musical acts will perform including The Short Change Band, Jason Wicks & 9-1-1.   $10 Donations are encouraged, the fund raiser will include the Live Music, Food, Door Prizes, 50/50 Raffles, Chinese Auction, money raised will BENEFIT Teresa, who suffered a series of strokes, all money raised will help pay medical bills.
