Binghamton Police arrested 21-year-old Trevis Johnson for the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Sergio Beldo of Binghamton Friday.  Johnson is being charged with 2nd degree murder; He was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.   Police are urging anyone with more information to call the Binghamton Police Detective Bureau: 772-7080.

State police at Sidney arrested 52 year old Colleen Layton of Binghamton for aggravated unlicensed operation. The arrest resulted from a vehicle and traffic law stop on State Highway 7 in Unadilla, A check of her driving privileges in New York State showed she was suspended nine times.   Layton was arraigned in the Unadilla court and released on her own recognizance to return on October 21st.

State Police in Binghamton arrested 47 year old Robert Klepfer of Binghamton for 2nd degree grand larceny.  Police were advised of a theft at the NYTECH Supply Company in Dickinson,  The investigation determined that  Klepfer had allegedly stolen $80,942 through falsifying business records over the last year.  He was arraigned at the Dickinson town court and released on his own recognizance.
