State Police at Oneonta responded to a reported armed robbery Saturday at Convenience Express, State Route 7 in Oneonta.  A white male approximately 6’ to 6’ 2” tall, medium build, wearing a full face mask, dark colored hooded sweatshirt with Monster & Fox Racing logos across chest, entered the store and stole an undisclosed amount of money. Police said that the Subject then fled on foot for the City of Oneonta.  Anyone with information is requested to contact the State Police at Oneonta at 432-3211.

State Police responded to a report Saturday of a Train/Pedestrian fatal accident in Endwell.  Preliminary Investigation revealed that a Canadian Pacific Train engineer  observed 38 year old HOLLY NALEPA of Binghamton laying on the tracks. The engineer applied the brakes but was unable to stop before striking Nalepa. The Broome County Coroner ordered the deceased removed to Wilson Memorial Hospital pending an autopsy. The accident remains under investigation.

Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested 58-year-old Anthony Trammo of New Berlin following an investigation into a disorderly subject at a City of Norwich medical facility. Trammo was charged with Aggravated Harassment of a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest.   for allegedly striking the Deputy during a traffic stop.  Trammo was arraigned in the City of Norwich Court and remanded to the custody of the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office to appear in court at a later date.
