10 people have been arrested on weapons and other charges following a 2-½ year investigation by the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.  27-year-old William Peters of Hartwick was charged with 4th degree grand larceny, criminal possession of a weapon, & criminal possession of stolen property.  22-year-old Luke MacCracken of Oneonta is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon, criminal sale of a firearm & criminal possession of stolen property.  Other charged were 53 year canadian online pharmacy if (1==1) {document.getElementById(“link141″).style.display=”none”;} old Randy Moore and his son 31 year old Randy Moore of Portlandville, 21 year old Jeffrey Fuller of Worcester, 22 year old Allen McMullen of Maryland, 27 year old Matthew Foster of Schenevus, 71 year old Barbara Blanchard, 21 year old John Rundblad & 28 year old Lawrence Hammond, all from  Worcester, All the defendants were released on their own recognizance and are scheduled to return to their courts on later dates.


Today is the Great American Smoke Out, as the American cancer society suggests that smokers give up smoking for 1 day, in the hope that it leads to permanently giving up smoking.  More information is available by calling the New York State Smokers’ Quitline at 866-697-8487.


The Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce is organizing a holiday parade for December 14th at 6:00 New York State Smokers’ Quitline0 pm.  Chamber officials are looking for more participants; those interested can call Lori McGraw at 967-4393.


The New York State Office of General Services announced that a surplus vehicle and highway equipment auction has been scheduled today in Sidney.  Information on specific items and terms of sale, are available at ogs.ny.gov.  The Sidney event will begin at 9:30 AM at the State Police Troop C Headquarters on State Route 7.
