The Chenango county sheriff’s department arrested Jessica Romanus of Pitcher for 3rd & 4th Degree Welfare Fraud & Offering a False Instrument for filing. Romanus is accused of receiving benefits that she was not entitled to; she was released & was ordered reappear in the City of Norwich Court at a later date.

An informational and sign-up meeting for Sidney Central School District’s 4th annual summer camps will be held today. A variety of camps will be offered again this summer, the meeting will be held tonight at 6:00pm in the high school library.
