The Binghamton annual “Welcome Back B-Mets” Dinner is scheduled for Tonight at 5:30 at the Holiday Inn in downtown Binghamton. All proceeds from this year’s event will go towards scholarships for local children to participate in the B-Mets Players Camp held in July at NYSEG Stadium. The Binghamton Mets are set to open their 24th season on April 9TH in Akron, The B-Mets home opener is on April 16th. Southern Tier Solar Works is launching Solarize Southern Tier East initiative to bring solar energy the tri-county area. The Delaware county kick off will be tonight at 6:30 PM at the Sidney Civic Center.

The Cancer Services Program of Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie counties will offer free health screenings to women 40 and older who are uninsured, with the Bassett Cancer Institute’s mobile screening coach in Oneonta today. Spokesperson Stephanie Thorne comments:

The Chenango County School Counselors Association is sponsoring their annual “Spring College Day” today from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM at the Norwich YMCA. Representatives from 40 colleges & The Armed forces will be present. The event is free & open to the public.

The next meeting of the General Clinton Canoe Regatta committee will be held tonight. The Regatta meeting will begin at 7:00 PM at the Highway 7 Bar and Grill on Route 7 in Bainbridge.

The Sidney Central School District Board Of Education meeting scheduled for Today has been cancelled. The next meeting will be held on April 21st at 7:00 pm in the High School Library.
