A US bankruptcy court hearing on the proposed sale of Endicott Interconnect Technologies for today has been postponed until August 20th.  Attorneys requested the postponement, following an objection filed by the US trustees office that raised concerns about the proposed sale of the company’s assets to an insider-owned company.  Endicott Interconnect Technologies filed for chapter 11-bankruptcy protection July 10th, claiming assets of $36 Million dollars with liabilities of more than $86 Million dollars.

Congressman Chris Gibson will be in Delaware County today.  Gibson is scheduled to visit the New England Wood Pellet Manufacturing Center in Deposit this morning, followed by the Delaware County Fair Luncheon in Walton at noon; Gibson will attend the Delaware county Fair throughout the afternoon and will march in the Delaware County Fireman’s Parade at 6:30.

Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Richard Westfall of Lakeland Florida after driving his car into a ditch on the Terry Road in the Town of Colesville at around midnight on Sunday. Westfall was charged with DWI, & refusing to take a Breathalyzer test.  He faces action in town of Colesville court at a later date.

State Troopers arrested 29-year-old Jesse Terpstra of Davenport for Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC result of .19%.  The arrest followed the investigation of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Charlotte Creek Road and County Route 9 in Davenport; Terpstra was issued tickets returnable in the Town of Davenport Court today.
