State Troopers arrested 24 year old Denver Colegrove of Otego for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, after responding to a 1 car roll over accident on Dutch Hill Road in Otego. Colegrove was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Otego Court on August 21st.

ACCO brands in Sidney announced that they would be adding 25 full time hourly manufacturing positions at their Sidney facility immediately. Governor Cuomo announced the recipients of $340 million in full-day pre-kindergarten funding for 81 school districts and Community Based Organizations statewide, opening full-day classroom slots to nearly 37,000 children. The funding is the first installment as part of the State’s commitment to invest $1.5 billion over 5 years to build a Statewide Universal Full-Day Pre-Kindergarten program.

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56 year old Douglas Caesar of New Berlin for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance for allegedly possessing cocaine in the City of Norwich. Caesar was released on his own recognizance to return to the City of Norwich Court at a later date.
