The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a raid at 25 Berlin Street in Binghamton, capturing resident 18-year-old Gabriel Gonzalez as he attempted to flee.   Gonzalez was charged with 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon, 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon and 4th-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police confiscated a stolen .32-caliber revolver, & a sawed-off 20-gauge shotgun.  Gonzalez faces arraignment in the City of Binghamton Court.

State Police at Troop C in Sidney will have a new commanding officer shortly, as major Kevin Molinari is now retired after more than 30 years in law enforcement.  The Major talked about his career last week:

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 28-year-old Joel Walcott of Queens for Aggravated Unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and insufficient tail lamps. Walcott was driving a commercial vehicle on State Route 10 in the Town of Hamden when deputies observed a taillight out, it was discovered that the Walcott’s drivers license had been suspended since last year.   Walcott was arraigned in the Town of Hamden Court and was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $500.00 Cash Bail or $500.00 Property Bond.

Delaware County Deputies investigated a one-car property damage auto accident.   46-year-old Kim Gregory of Walton was traveling on Wakeman Brook Road in the Town of Walton when two deer entered into the roadway causing Gregory to swerve to avoid the deer. Gregory had lost control of her vehicle causing it to leave the roadway and strike a tree. Gregory was issued a ticket for unsafe tires returnable to the Town of Walton Court.
