State Troopers arrested 29-year-old Francis Henry of Moosic, Pennsylvania for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. The arrests were the result of a traffic stop in Colesville; Henry was issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the Town of Colesville Court on December 12th.

The Oneonta city council is considering a number of fare increases and adjustments for services provided by Oneonta public transit. The adjustments do not affect bus routes inside the city, but are deemed necessary due to high fuel costs and maintenance of the city’s aging fleet of busses. A public information hearing will be held Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM at city hall.

Planned Parenthood of South Central New York will recognize World AIDS Day today, by offering free anonymous rapid HIV testing and counseling, through 4:00 PM at their offices at 37 Dietz St Oneonta, in the Eaton Center in Norwich and at 117 Hawley Street, Binghamton . World AIDS day was on Saturday December 1st.
