3 school districts already announced that they will be closed tomorrow, those are Walton, Delaware Academy in Delhi & South Kortright.

The DCMO Robert W. Harrold BOCES Campus in Masonville was evacuated at the end of the school day today, after a threatening note was found in a boy’s bathroom, according to Superintendent for Instructional Service Michael McDonald. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Department & the State Police Bomb Sniffing K9 unit responded, McDonald told WCDO News that more information will be released later on their website DCMOBOCES.com

Governor Cuomo updated the status of storm recovery operations in the Hudson Valley as a second winter storm is being forecast to impact New York.  Last week’s storm caused extensive damage to electric utility infrastructure, including hundreds of broken utility poles and damage in remote locations, however power outages have continued to steadily decrease. Thousands were still without power in the Hudson Valley, about 800 were without power in Delaware County early this morning.

The lock-down on the Utica College campus was lifted late Monday Afternoon, with Residential students returning to their dorms, & Commuter students, faculty and staff were allowed to leave the campus last night.  Law enforcement remained on campus last night as they continued the investigation, following the school receiving a report of a gunman on campus, which officials deemed as “Not Credible”. Classes were back in session today, so far, no arrests have been made.

State Police arrested 42 year old Kenneth Barrows of Binghamton for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Assault,  after Troopers responded to the Upper Delaware Inn, in Hancock after Barrows allegedly struck & choked a woman. Barrows was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.

State Police arrested 37 year old Lisa Keyes of Fenton for Aggravated DWI with a B.A.C. result of .21%, plus Reckless Endangerment and multiple traffic violations. Troopers arrested Keyes after she led Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies in a pursuit where she was observed traveling in the wrong direction on I-88, I-81 and State Route 17. Troopers went ahead of Keyes on Route 17 in the town of Union where she finally stopped. Keyes was released and is scheduled to appear in the town of Union Court on April 3rd.

State Police arrested 29 year old Astrid Paulis of Worcester for Aggravated DWI with a B.A.C. result of .22% and other traffic offenses. A motorist on State Route 23 in the town of Davenport contacted 911 after they observed a 1-car motor vehicle accident. Troopers located Paulis at her residence, she was released on tickets for town of Davenport Court on March 27th.

Delaware County Sheriff Deputies observed a vehicle recently in Walton, at 52 miles an hour in a posted 30 mile an hour zone. Deputies arrested 19 year old Joseph Butler of Cortland Manor, deputies seized a large amount of marijuana, Butler was charged with Speeding & Criminal Possession of Marijuana, he was arraigned in the Village of Walton Court & was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bash, pending future court action. Deputies were assisted by Walton Police.

The next General Clinton Canoe Regatta Committee meetings will be held tonight. The meetings will be held at Galaxy Bowl on State Route 7, the Race committee meeting begins at 6:30 and the general meeting starts at 7:30 PM.

State Senator Fred Akshar will be hosting 3 more “Face Time With Fred” town hall meetings on Saturday, March 10th and 17th.
