The Unatego School Board conducted a public meeting last night regarding the 4 bids to take over the former Otego Elementary school building. Unatego Superintendent Dr. Dave Richards explains:

The 4 proposal include Kildonan School, with plans for a school for Dyslexic children, LPP Management with plans for senior housing & Offices, 2+4 Management with plans for 36 senior apartments, and AgZeit with plans for indoor agriculture.

Oneonta officials invite Main Street businesses to an information session related to the Downtown Oneonta Improvement Fund on Friday at 8:30 AM at the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce offices at 189 Main Street in Oneonta. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Improvement Fund, which is a grant program to provide property and business owners a flexible funding mechanism to improve properties located within the Downtown DRI boundaries. Attorney General Barbara Underwood is part of a coalition of Attorneys General – announced that she will file suit against the Trump administration to block the distribution of materials that enable the printing of untraceable, undetectable guns using 3-D printers. The lawsuit will be filed in federal court by the Attorneys General of Washington, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Maryland, New York, and the District of Columbia.

Registration forms for the Bainbridge-Guilford After School Care Program are due by August 1st. The program is open to all students Pre-K through 6 and will be held at Greenlawn Elementary School starting September 6.
