Governor Cuomo held a COVID 19 briefing today, he outlined the priorities for Vaccine distributions in the state, with the first shipment expected sometime next week:

The Governor said that 90 sites are being set up around the state for the cold storage of the Vaccines; the first shipments are expected from Pfizer, with more coming from Moderna & Pfizer later in the month.

Governor Cuomo reported that 10,585 New Yorkers tested positives for COVID 19 Tuesday, out of more than 194,000 tested, or 5.44% of all tested.  4,993 Patients are Hospitalizations Statewide, 952 Patients in the ICU; 521 are on ventilators, there were 95 COVID-19 Deaths in New York State Tuesday.

Chenango County Public Health reported another 15 positive COVID 19 cases Tuesday, bringing their totals to 754.  They have 95 active cases with 6 hospitalizations, 452 are quarantined 640 have recovered & there have been 13 deaths.

The Broome County Health Department announced that they are up to 5980 total COVID 19 cases, after announcing 79 more positive tests today.  The county has 145 deaths, over 5106 recoveries with over 4700 being monitored by the Health Department.

Driver’s license expiration dates have been pushed back to January 1, 2021. If you have a New York State Driver’s License or permit with an expiration date after March 1, 2020, it is still valid until January 1, 2021. This extended an Executive Order that granted people whose licenses expired during the pandemic more time to renew.

State Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stole Price Chopper gift cards from a Richfield Springs church around December 1st.  The gift Cards were worth $2500 which was earmarked to be handed out to local families in need this Holiday Season, Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police at Troop C at 561-7400.

State Police were dispatched early Monday Morning to a report of a fire on Welton Street in the town of Colesville.  60 year old Wendy Sutton died as a result of the fire, Harpursville, Windsor, Ouaguaga and West Colesville Fire Departments responded.   The fire is not believed to be suspicious & the investigation is ongoing.

Governor Cuomo reported that 9935 tested positives for COVID 19 Monday, out of more than 162,000 tested, or 5.74% of all tested.  4,835 Patients are Hospitalizations Statewide, 906 Patients in the ICU; 493 are on ventilators, there were 74 COVID-19 Deaths in New York State Monday.

Otsego County Department of Health reported 35 new COVID cases reported Tuesday, the county now reports 1475 total confirmed cases, 134 active cases,  17 are hospitalized, there have been 8 deaths,  767 cases linked to SUNY Oneonta & 71 confirmed cases linked to Hartwick College

Delaware County is reporting 18 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday and 5 recoveries. The known active cases have reached 100. To date there have been 464 confirmed positive cases, 298 people are under mandatory quarantine, 93 people are isolated at home and 7 people are in a hospital, 9 people have died and 355 have recovered.
