State Police in Owego, New York, arrested 4 suspects for stealing over $118,000 worth of electronics from trailers at the Best Buy Warehouse parking lot in the Town of Nichols, troopers arrested 24 year old LANCE DEGRAFFENREID of Illinois, 19 year old DEVONTE HENRY of Illinois, 35 year old ROLAND JACKSON of, Wisconsin and 24 year old RICKY PEARSON of Illinois, for 2nd degree Grand Larceny, they were arraigned & were remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $50,000 bail. The investigation is continuing.

State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman today announced that he is leading a coalition of more than a dozen states in filing a friend-of-the-court brief urging the U.S. Supreme Court to strike down the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which refuses to recognize for same-sex marriages valid under state law. The brief will be filed today in the case of United States vs. Windsor, other states involved in the filing include Massachusetts, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington and the District of Columbia.
