Level 3 Sex Offender John Cumo of Walton is facing additional charges of 2nd & 3rd degree Criminal Trespass & 2 counts of criminal mischief, in relation to break-ins at two Town of Hamden seasonal properties.  Cumo was arrested Wednesday by Delaware county deputies, state police & US Marshals after removing his GPS unit Tuesday, he was found hiding in a garage of a seasonal residence located on Back River Lane, Hamden.  Cumo is being held in the Delaware County Jail without bail pending further action by the Division of Parole, he faces arraignment on the new charges in the Town of Hamden Court at a later time.


Governor Cuomo encouraged New Yorkers to purchase products made in New York for their Easter gift giving by utilizing the PrideofNY.com & looking for the “Pride of NY” label when shopping for foods and beverages.  The revamped website enables New Yorkers to search for the best in locally grown and produced New York State food and beverage products. The website also features a map and list showing various search results, which include addresses and contact information of each establishment. There are more than 3,000 members of the “Pride of New York” program listed in this database along with numerous other agribusinesses.


Matthews Ford & the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich have announced a partnership to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang, with free admission tomorrow.  Museum Spokesperson Marty Kuhn comments:

A variety of festivities are being planned, culminating with the 9th Annual Mustang Rally at Matthews Ford in Norwich on June 21st.


The annual Big Wheels Golf Tournament, held at the Delhi College Golf Course, will take place on Friday, May 9th; it will serve as a primary fundraiser for programs and services for Delaware County senior citizens.  Applications for the tournament can be obtained by contacting the Delaware County Office for the Aging at 746-6333.
