State Police were dispatched to a report of a motorcycle crash on Atwell Hill Road in the town of Windsor.  61 year old David Enyart of Windsor was traveling south on Atwell Hill Road when his motorcycle had a mechanical failure causing him and his bike to go off the road into the ditch.  Enyart was transported by ambulance to Wilson Hospital & was transferred to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

Animal Adventure Park announces the tremendous passing of April the Giraffe. Euthanasia was carried out at April’s home in Harpursville this morning, due to her worsening arthritis.   April the Giraffe became a viral sensation and household name in 2017, winning admirers around the globe as the world watched her labor and delivery on a YouTube live stream.

Delaware County Public Health reported 28 new cases of COVID 19 Thursday, out of 796 tested.  There are 171 active cases, 18 hospitalized & 369 in quarantine.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Brooklyn man last Friday for speeding on State Highway 17. Deputies arrested 63-year-old Joseph Joseph of Brooklyn; a routine inquiry revealed that Joseph’s New York State driving privileges were suspended.  Joseph was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, along with other similar violations, his vehicle was towed from the highway and he was released after being directed to appear in the Town of Hancock Court on a later date
