Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is being sued by former aide Brittany Commisso, who claims that Cuomo sexually harassed her while he was still in office. Commisso filed the case against the ex-governor in state Supreme Court in Albany on Wednesday, she was 1 of 11 women who accused Cuomo of sexual misconduct, leading to his resignation in 2021, he has denied the allegations.

Embattled Congressman George Santos faces a potential expulsion vote this week, following a House Ethics Committee report that revealed a “complex web of unlawful activity.” On Friday, Santos acknowledged that his chances of remaining in Congress were slim, only 5 times in history has a member of the U.S. House of Representatives been expelled.

The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32 year old Allen Bachorik of Hartwick, following an investigation into a physical domestic dispute in the Town of Hartwick. Bachorik was charged with 2nd & 3rd degree Assault, Menacing, 8 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child plus Criminal Mischief, he was placed in pre-arraignment hold for arraignment in Otsego County Central Arraignment.

Otsego County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32 year old Katherine Naber of Richfield Springs, following a Domestic Dispute in the Town of Otsego. Naber was charged with 1st & 2nd Degree Criminal Contempt & Resisting Arrest, after Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the Town of Otsego and determined that Naber had violated a valid order of protection, she resisted arrest by attempting to fight and flee from Deputies on scene, she was taken into custody and later held at the Otsego County Jail pending arraignment.

Governor Kathy Hochul signed legislation requiring camps and youth sports programs to establish automated external defibrillator implementation plans and to have at least 1 person trained to properly use the AED at camps, games and practice. The Legislation was supported by Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin, who on January 2, 2023, suffered a cardiac arrest after making a tackle, CPR and automated external defibrillation were quickly administered before he was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

The Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce announced that the Toys for Tots Train will stop in Bainbridge on Saturday, at the Freiot Avenue Rail Crossing at about 1:30 to 2:00 pm. Children can see Santa, receive cookies, a stocking stuffer and meet the marines!
